Editorial guidelines

How we work

emeraldchat.co.uk publishes reviews, guides and news about Emerald Chat. Every article is bylined by one of our editorial personas and is checked against our data sources before publication. Reviews carry two dates: when the article was last revised, and when the underlying data was last checked.

Editorial personas

The author names on our articles are editorial personas: pen names our editorial team uses to give each type of article a consistent voice. They are not individual people, and each persona's author page says so. Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and checked against our data sources (a curated fact dossier and weekly checks of the official site) before publication.

Accuracy and corrections

We aim for verifiable facts: licensing details, prices and terms come from our data sources and are stamped with a check date. Is something on this site wrong or outdated? Send a message via the contact form; we review every report and correct articles where needed.

Independence

We are not part of Emerald Chat. Both strengths and weaknesses appear in our content, and how we earn is explained in our advertising disclosure.
